Vic began his career in the mid-1980's in Hollywood, CA where he worked as an assistant engineer at two prominent recording studios and then two record labels on the administrative side.
In the early 1990's, Vic transitioned into full-time video production as an Associate Producer for "Now That's Music" a start-up cable television venture. His knack for video production evolved into a career as one of the Bay Area's busiest editors. Over the past 14 years he has edited projects for Apple, Oracle, Compaq, E*Trade, GAP, Google, HP, The Laugh Factory, Microsoft, National Geographic, PBS, Sony, TiVo and Visa.
As clients sought to involve Vic in increasingly more important roles, Vic Ferrer Productions was founded. Since 1997 the company has produced for Cisco, ConAgra Foods, Genentech, Mayer Labs, Ross Stores and A&E Television, as well as independent documentaries and numerous non-profit projects.
Vic Ferrer Productions is based in San Francisco at The Producer's Loft. Ferrer established this high definition production studio and edit suite as a base for his own productions and makes the facility available to other independent producers.
